Empowering Communities
Vaan Muhil Trust is committed to reaching children from disadvantaged and underprivileged communities, providing them with opportunities to learn, grow, and realize their full potential. Through a range of educational and developmental initiatives, we offer learning support by establishing evening study centers, organizing exposure visits, providing reading materials, and conducting career guidance and skill development programmes on a regular basis.
To ensure that workers are aware of their entitlements, we organize special registration camps, village-level awareness programmes, and Panchayat-level workers’ collective meetings. These initiatives empower workers with information, facilitate access to government welfare schemes, and strengthen their collective voice.
For over five years, Vaan Muhil Trust has been at the forefront of promoting constitutional literacy and democratic citizenship among children through its pioneering Constitutional Values Education (CVE) Programme. Our work focuses on equipping children, educators, and community stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to build an inclusive, democratic, and secular society.
Recognizing climate change as one of the most pressing challenges of our time, Vaan Muhil Trust is committed to building awareness and promoting climate justice among communities, particularly those most vulnerable to its impacts. The Trust organizes seminars, workshops, and community awareness programmes on climate justice, with a special focus on the increasing frequency of extreme weather events such as erratic rainfall, floods, droughts, and rising temperatures.

These programmes provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Panchayati Raj Institutions, their roles and responsibilities, and the importance of participatory governance.
